While I enjoy working with a variety of therapeutic approaches, I am primarily psychodynamic in orientation. This means that I believe that our early environment and experiences have a profound impact on our way of understanding and relating to the world. As adults, we may discover that we are unable to create the lives we want while being constrained by unhelpful beliefs, feelings, and behaviors stemming from our younger years. My work is also shaped by psychoanalytic and object relations theories, and attachment theory.

When working together, we will bring focus to where you may feel stuck and at dis-ease in your life, allowing the space to understand more. By tending to and exploring the parts of who you are, there can be a meeting of one’s shadows, a deepening of self- awareness, and a creation of new experiences.

I welcome all into my office. I intentionally hold each individual’s context and identity including race, culture, gender, sexuality and religion with honor. If at anytime we decide working together is not in your best interest, I will provide referrals to other professionals who might better support you.
